Wildness was founded in 2014 by drummer and songwriter Erik Modin, guitarists Adam Holmström and Pontus Sköld, and lead singer Gabriel Lindmark. The band performed live and released some demos for the first two years of their existence before releasing their first two albums on the German label AOR Heaven.

Prior to the release of their self-titled debut album in late 2017, bassist Marcus Sjösund joined the band as a full-time member during the album’s recording. The debut album immediately became a huge international success among fans of the melodic hard rock scene.

Erik Forsberg – new singer announced in 2020.

In 2018, the band performed at a number of different international festivals, sharing stages with Dokken, H.E.A.T, Dee Snider, Crashdïet, Dragonforce, Arch Enemy, Warrant, Vixen and others, and also had the honor to open for legendary Danish hard rocker Pretty Maids to open. In 2019, singer Gabriel Lindmark left Wildness and Erik Forsberg (ex-Blazon Stone) announced as their new frontman in spring 2020. The second album, Ultimate Demise, was released later in 2020 and was produced by drummer Erik Modin.

The 3rd release Ressurection was released in 2022 by Frontiers Records. Produced, mixed and mastered by band founder and main songwriter Erik Modin, the album contains 11 classic melodic rock gems – always with one foot in the here and now.

Wildness is currently working on their 4th album.
